This project comprised construction of an ultra-luxurious 23-storey hotel complex in Coloane, Macau. The building stood 88 metres tall with 200 rooms ranging from 200 to 2,000 square metres in size. Boutique retail, restaurants and entertainment facilities were also included.
Other features:
- A façade utilising an innovative three-layer curtain wall with a 9,000-piece building skin;
- A 9.5m diameter diamond-shaped glass feature with over 130 LED lighting panels and a crown of over 70 glass panels on the two topmost floors;
Top-down construction was used to build the basement and BIM simulation was used throughout the entire project to ensure construction accuracy. By skillfully managing each feature, our team were to successfully execute the client’s complex vision.
