Established in 1973, Lian Beng is Singapore’s leading homegrown construction group. We provide one-stop business solutions with integrated civil engineering, in-house construction-related business, resource and transportation, production of ready-mixed concrete and asphalt premix. We have been listed on the Singapore Exchange since 1999. Our status with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) as an A1 grade contractor in General Building enables us to tender for public-sector building projects of unlimited contract value, while our A2 grade in Civil Engineering allows us to handle engineering projects of up to $85 million in contract value. Our property development arm, SLB Development Ltd (SLB), which has a diverse portfolio of residential, industrial, commercial and mixed-use projects, was successfully listed on the Singapore Exchange in April 2018. We have been recognised for our project excellence and sustainable construction practices. Construction Lian Beng has a proven track record as a main contractor in the construction of residential, industrial and commercial buildings, as well as civil engineering projects. Leveraging our capabilities and track record, including a strong focus on quality and cost control, we have delivered numerous projects across a wide spectrum of complexity and scale, and spanning the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Embracing emerging technologies, we use Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC), as part of our continuing effort to raise productivity, improve site safety and minimise the impact of our activities on the environment. From homes to hotels, from offices to large-scale industrial complexes, we have the expertise to build it all. Construction-Related Services To support our construction business and other third-party contractors, we manufacture ready-mixed concrete and asphalt premix, and fabricate reinforcement bars.  We also provide engineering and construction services such as metal works, structural works and strutting works. Property Investment We invest in local and overseas developments, either through sole ownership or joint venture, to generate recurring income.  We are involved in the development and leasing of purpose-built workers’ dormitories as well as sale and leasing of office, industrial and residential properties. We also have minority stakes in overseas hospitality projects and hold investments in equity and bonds.
