The founder Dato' Yong Yoon Kooi of Bright Decorama (M) Sdn. Bhd. expanded to undertake contract works in the commercial sector specialising in flooring works during 1983 to 1996. Pursuant to its business expansion, it was subsequently converted to
BDC Corporation Sdn. Bhd. on 1st August 1997. The principal trade of the company being flooring products, BDC Corporation has became more specialised in this sector, particularly vinyl floorings.
