Mercu Mustapha Kamal (MMK)

Neo Damansara

Standing at the gateway of Damansara Perdana, MMK is a Grade A office towers that have the simple, timeless form of vertical planes, giving the 26 and 37 story towers a slender, tapering silhouette. The walls are composed of Double Glazing Unit (DGU) glass and rich colour texture that combines cold and warm colours of varying grayscales and lightness. These horizontal and vertical accents gradually taper in depth to accentuate the East West facing Sky Gardens corners, the local typology by distinctly yet seamlessly blending the contemporary high rise with abundant greenery in between the offices; it turns into a place for rest, relaxation and communication. The walls rise past the top floor to form portal frames that appear to dissolve into the sky. Carved into the towers top are photovoltaic cells for harvesting daylight.

This building has obtained the provisional GBI certificate, which is awarded based on design documents during design stage The next step is to proceed with the verification assessment with GBI, which tentatively shall be within the 1 st year of occupancy of the building Through the careful control of the overall environment, architectural form and shading facade an office building with high surplus value has achieved.
