About Arkitek Kamal Alwi

Founded in 2011, the architectural studio is located in the vintage Wisma Central building  at  the heart Kuala Lumpur city centre. AKA keeps its boutique scale  in order to focus on talents and creative design. In collaboration with Citylab Projects Sdn Bhd  it forms a larger collaborative front consisting of Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and other building professionals. The current portfolio and previous experience covers all major sectors, and has been honoured several design awards including the Lenggong Valley Visitor Centre UNESCO World Heritage Site Idea Competition The practice is a perpetuation of past experience and a continual strive to meet future challenges. Backed by a dedicated professional team, AKA pledge to respond to projects of any size and complexity with the deepest level of involvement in the design and implementation skills to deliver projects which meet the highest possible standards of excellence.
