In July 2023, Singapore will host the return of FIND – Design Fair Asia, scheduled from September 21 to 23 at Marina Bay Sands. This event will bring together influential leaders from the interior design industry during the Singapore Design Week 2023. Impressively, the trade show has experienced a remarkable 75 percent growth in exhibitors compared to 2022. It is rapidly establishing itself as a significant strategic center for emerging brands seeking to seize opportunities in the Asian market, stay aligned with current trends, and showcase innovation.

FIND reinforces its role as a platform for trade, accommodating both individual companies and country-specific pavilions. Over an expansive area of 12,500 square meters, approximately 300 brands will cater to an anticipated 12,000 attendees from the region. These participants will include prominent figures such as interior designers, architects, developers, as well as professionals from retail and hospitality sectors.

The event will highlight a variety of exciting manufacturers specializing in furniture, lighting, flooring, furnishings, next-gen workspace systems, and design collectibles. Taking place over three stimulating days, the event will also incorporate various on-site activities, the FIND Global Summit, and the EMERGE showcase.

Country Pavilions: The Best From Around The World

The pavilions of Italy, Thailand, Sarawak (Malaysia), Singapore and Indonesia will celebrate their country’s national design and manufacturing culture offering delegates a wide selection of original and imaginative contemporary interior solutions.

Italy | Design Made in Italy

A big green entrance welcomes people to the Italian Design Futures Capsule, a special display celebrating creativity and design from Italy. This time, it's set up like a grid with a central plaza. Designers from Stefano Boeri Interiors made two wide pathways that meet at the center, where there are many Italian exhibitors.

Around 50 Italian brands will be there, showing special furniture and things for homes. One company, Floema, has fancy furniture with cool shapes. Another company, Italian TexStyle, has fancy fabrics inspired by a famous nearby lake.

Italy is the main country from Europe that sells furniture to Singapore. In 2022, they sold €59.8 million worth of furniture. This shows how important it is to invest in Italy and their cool designs. Singapore's buildings and city style are a great match for Italy's high-quality and cool products. More than 30 Italian companies will be part of FIND – Design Fair Asia 2023. This shows that Singapore is a really good place for Italian makers and designers in Asia, says Ilaria Piccinni, who helps with trade between countries.

There's also something cool at the exhibit: "Italia Geniale." It's a collection made by ADI – a design group. They show important things from Italy that tell stories about creativity, work, feeling good, and how people connect with each other. This makes the display even more exciting.

Thailand | Closing The Loop

The Thailand Pavilion focuses on the circular economy, which means reusing things to be more sustainable. It's put together by Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP). About 15 special companies will be there, showing modern and eco-friendly designs that are also well-crafted. One exhibitor, AmoArte, makes furniture using bamboo and sugar palm wood. Anon Pairot Design Studio, led by Anon Pairot, makes furniture and home stuff using traditional methods. Another interesting company is Deesawat, a top furniture maker in Thailand. They use leftover teak wood to create the cool Parallel Collection. All the things you see at the pavilion are made with natural materials, nice colors, fabrics, traditional ways, and good craftsmanship.

Singapore | Exhibitor Highlights

The fully sold-out Singapore pavilion has expanded to almost 60 exhibitors and builds on global brands with head offices in Singapore and leading local manufacturers supported by Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC).

Villeroy & Boch, a globally renowned premium brand, marks its 275th anniversary at FIND. They present the exclusive Jubilee Collection, created for this special occasion. Also, check out Kaschkasch's Antao bathroom collection, inspired by dewdrops. New colors, like Frozen and Deep Ocean, enhance the Artis washbasins, complemented by the mosaic-patterned tap from the Metlach premium collection.

Explore diverse exhibitors at FIND, from indoor to outdoor furniture. Roolf Living introduces the Silky range, luxurious and comfortable. Umbrosa Umbrellas brings the Versa range, featuring a cantilever design in various colors. Both brands present new offerings to Southeast Asia.

Sarawak, Malaysia | A Forward-Looking Vision

Under the theme "Design for Tomorrow," Sarawak Design Centre (SARADEC) returns with exhibitors showcasing modern designs for the European, Middle Eastern, and Singaporean markets. They highlight young furniture designers from Sarawak, merging culture and nature with local motifs. In the past year, they exceeded their sales target, reaching RM$6.1 million from RM$5 million. They're eager to welcome industry professionals in 2023.
