Sliding solutions enable intelligent design: they create freedom, push boundaries and enable multiple uses. This makes larger and smaller miracles possible – in construction, construction and furniture. An international exhibition of works.
Filigree coat made of cedar wood (picture above)
On the Schlossberg in Starnberg, Germany, the architect Michael Schattan has built a house that stands out. Decorative sliding shutters made of cedar wood protect against sun and wind. They are implemented with HAWA Frontslide matic.

New face at the push of a button
The Hotel La Maison in Saarlouis, Germany, is clad in perforated folding sliding shutters made of aluminium sheet. At the touch of a button, guests can easily open and close the automated facades. With each movement, the exterior of the building changes. This is possible thanks to the HAWA Frontego 30 matic facade fittings.

Luxury paradise in the Alps
In 2018, the hotel "The Chedi" in Andermatt has been awarded as the best holiday hotel in Switzerland. The star architect JeanMichel Gathy from Kuala Lumpur combines Asian feel-good elements with alpine chic in the rooms. For smooth comfort, space-saving through doors with HAWA Junior and high-quality built-in wardrobes with HAWA Concepta provide smooth comfort.

Transparency in the office for bright minds
In this office, the creatives of Kapero in Stockholm come up with ideas. Light floods the rooms, bright colors and simple design dominate. In order to create relaxation areas in a small space, the architects N59 used yellow sliding glass doors with the HAWA Junior 80 GP fitting system.

Business Lounge for architecture fans
The Vitra Campus on the edge of the German town of Weil am Rhein attracts architecture fans from near and far. In this business lounge in the middle of the factory area, the cloakroom and tea kitchen are discreetly hidden behind a fifteen-metre-long wooden sliding wall. Designed by the renowned architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron, implemented with HAWA Aperto.

A symbiosis of opposites
Stone, glass, wood – space and nature merge in the loft 24/7. Architect Fernanda Marques created it for the CasaCor exhibition in Sao Paulo. The living wall is harmoniously staged and at the same time practically flexible. The solution behind it: EKU Regal B 25 XH FS.

Clear structure in the private spa
Furniture help to bring peace of mind into the room. A sliding door cabinet can be transformed into a discreet shelf using EKU Clipo 26 H Mixslide. The bathroom becomes a retreat.

Young family hotel offers amazing perspectives
In 2016, the "Jumeirah Al Naseem" opened its doors in the lagoon city of Madinat Jumeirah. The 430 rooms and suites are equipped with the HAWA Junior Telescopic sliding solutions. They turn the balcony into an extended living space, with views of the sea and Dubai skyline.
