LIQUID APPLIED FLEXIBLE WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE
PROPERTIES & APPLICATION:
AQUASHIELD 3000 is a single component, acrylate polymer based waterproofing and sealing membrane.
It is ready to use directly out of the pail and provides a seamless waterproofing
membrane which prevents the penetration of water when applied correctly. No dilution of the product is necessary.
AQUASHIELD 3000 is water based and is non-toxic and non-flammable.
AQUASHEILD 3000 has been formulated to be extremely flexible which allows for applications in areas where floor movements are limited while absorbing vibrations.
AQUASHIELD 3000 comes in a light sage colour and will turn to a darker shade of green once it is fully cured.
APPLICATION:
AQUASHIELD 3000 can be applied directly from the tub with a roller or brush.
It is ready to use and does not require the addition of water.
AQUASHIELD 3000 can be applied vertically and horizontally over concrete, block and bricks, cement render, fibrous cement sheets, plasterboard, tile underlayment, metal sheets and various other sound surfaces.
A minimum of 2 coats is required. After application of the first coat, ensure that it is allowed to dry for a minimum of 1 to 2 hours. Application of the second layer must be allowed to dry for at least 4 hours. A third coat may be necessary to ensure that AQUASHIELD 3000 achieves a uniformly applied surface with no pinholes present.*
