We wanted to create a space where people could meet after work to enjoy a drink with friends, and seamlessly transition into a casual dinner. The open kitchen provides guests with an insight into the traditionally “behind the scenes” space and enhances the social nature of the venue.
The design concept draws heavily on the Hawaiian legend, Don Ho, thus the interiors called for a rich palate of lush, visually rich textures, and finally – fun – which is the epitome of Don Ho. Hand painted Pierre Frey wallpaper lines the walls, tropical plants adorn the ceilings and copper accents add a layer of luxe to the interiors.
Don Ho’s centerpiece, a long bar, features a lively herringbone tile, rich copper accents and spills with fresh produce of pineapples, citrus and tropical florals.
