Mapletree Anson boasts 19 floors of prime office space prominently located in the central business district
Mapletree Anson is located at 60 Anson Road, in close proximity to the network of public transport serving the central business district. This Grade A office building offers two storeys of car parking space and sixteen storeys of column-free office space of about 2,000 square metres per storey.
The striking facade design, consisting of staggered fins interplayed with white spandrels, suggests a hint of playfulness and signifies a fresh interpretation of the usual office curtain wall facade.
Taking cue from the transient traffic and pedestrian flow through the site, the sense of movement is drawn from the pedestrian flow and translates itself into the conceptualization for the façade design. The white spandrels are interweaved with a layer of horizontal sunshading fins create a dynamic drift on an otherwise static facade.
Special attention was paid to the detail of the vertical glass fin. With the public safety in mind, laminated glass fins were used. One appreciates the changing views of the curved glass fin wall at this corner as it catches the sunlight at different angles. The horizontal fin along the main tower façade is designed to replicate and be integrated with the linear LED lighting.
At night, the façade lighting is programmed to have the lighting effect moving through the building façade, reflecting the movement of the passing commuters.
Designed to deliver the highest standards of spatial and functional efficiency, Mapletree Anson is poised to provide a low energy-usage environment for businesses via its state-of-the-art environmentally friendly building technologies. The project has been recognised with a prestigious BCA Green Mark Platinum award. This is a testament to the developer’s commitment to delivering a top-grade office building, and at the same time, remaining respectful of the environment and minimising the use of resources.
