In a testament to Zip Water’s dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, Zip HydroTap Touch-Free Wave has been awarded the winner in the Technology and Innovation category of this year’s JLL Vendor Awards.
Zip HydroTap Touch-Free Wave is a contactless solution developed in response to COVID-19, reducing the number of touchpoints in the office and giving reassurance to people wanting a safe return to the workplace.
Zip Water Marketing, Strategy & Innovation Director, Mike Abbott, said the award recognised the team that has re-imagined a classic product for a world still reckoning with the new normal of COVID-19.
“The workplace of the future requires higher standards of hygiene and fewer common touchpoints as part of the solution to minimise risk of transmission. With drinking water taps one of the most used appliances in workplace kitchens, we knew we needed to provide a contactless solution to provide a safer workplace.”
“There’s no other drinking water tap that offers contactless operation for boiling, chilled and sparkling water that also incorporates contactless safety activation for boiling water and continuous flow, and I’m very proud of the team for creating such an innovative solution.”
As a global facilities management firm, the JLL Vendor Awards recognise partners and organisations who are demonstrating leadership, excellence, and innovation in the field of property and facilities management in Australasia.
The Zip Water and JLL partnership extends back over the past decade, and in the past few years has flourished.
“To be nominated as a finalist and to have won in the Technology and Innovation category is a true indication of the value Zip Water provides to JLL, and to be acknowledged in such a way is a real source of pride,” says Bob McNamara, Zip National Manager of Key Accounts.
The JLL Vendor Awards was presented on 20 October in a virtual ceremony, with hundreds of attendees across the Asia-Pacific.
