The HKIDA X CIFF Designer Tour, held from 19–20 March 2026 in Guangzhou, underscored Hong Kong’s growing engagement with one of the world’s most influential furniture and design platforms. The Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) marked a key milestone in regional green collaboration last week, co‑hosting a thematic session with BEAM Society Limited (BSL) at the GreenBiz HK Forum in Bangkok. The SIA Study Tour: Tokyo – Advancing Architectural Excellence & MET Innovation marked the Singapore Institute of Architects’ first overseas architectural immersion study tour, organised with the support of SKK Singapore (https://skk.com.sg/). Held from 10 to 13 March 2026, the programme brought 23 delegates to Tokyo for a focused exploration of architectural design, practice, and internationalisation through curated building visits, expert dialogues, and cultural experiences.

The Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD) successfully hosted the HKIUD Annual Dinner cum Award Presentation Ceremony for the Urban Design Award 2025 on Thursday, 19 March 2026. The event brought together over 100 urban design professionals in Hong Kong, including speakers from the HKIUD Conference held earlier that day, the Guest of Honour, annual sponsors, members, friends, and the jurors and winners of the Award.

The year 2025 marks the 16th anniversary of the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), and we were excited to celebrate this milestone at the 16th Anniversary cum Chinese New Year Cocktail held on 4 February 2026 at Centricity – Concentric. More than 230 industry leaders and distinguished guests attended the occasion, which was honoured by the presence of Mr David LAM, JP, Under Secretary for Development as the Guest of Honour, including Government Officials, and HKGBC’s Founding Members, Directors, Members and Working Partners. The gathering marked a meaningful moment to reflect on shared achievements and reaffirm collective commitment to a greener built environment.
