About Adam's Architectural Mill work Co.

Adams Architectural Millwork Co. started in 1981 under the name of Midwest Architectural Wood Products. It was owned and operated by Jim Englander. Jim built the business and reputation over the next 18 years. In May of 1999 Jim decided to sell the business to Patricia (Patti) Adams. Patti renamed the business to Adams Architectural Wood Products. Patti put her mark on the business over the next nine years. In March of 2008, Adams Architectural Wood Products was purchased by Dubuque Sash & Door Mfg. located in Dubuque, Iowa under the ownership of Chad and Dawn Lueken. The business was renamed to Adams Architectural Millwork Company and the business was relocated from Eldridge, Iowa to Dubuque, Iowa. Since the transition in ownership, Adams has further developed as a millwork shop. Today we take on residential and commercial projects throughout the United States. At Adams, we focus on working with architects and contractors to design and build truly custom, one-of-a-kind window and door units. We have recently enhanced our line of products to include storm windows and doors, wood windows and entry doors and other custom products that satisfy our customers who want something different and unique. At the same time, we have stayed true to our roots by continuing to replicate windows and doors for historical homes and buildings.
